Next stop is the iconic island of Isla Gigantes, the Cabugao Gamay Island. I’d say iconic because of the famous shot you see when you google Isla Gigantes that made this group of islands a famous tourist destination.
But wait, there’s still more! For those who are adventurous and fit enough to do some rock climbing, prepare yourself because you’re going to have one here. Just a few walk from the beach is a steep rock formation that is not to be missed in order to enjoy that grand aerial view of the island.
The climb can be a bit slippery especially if you’re walking with your wet sandals or slippers. I initially decided to take off my slippers and walk barefoot however the very first instance I laid my foot on the rock, I almost burned it! Okay. I’m exaggerating, but it was in the middle of the day when we got there and the scorching heat from the sun is taking a toll on us. So instead, I wore my slippers and climb that hilly boulders cautiously following every steps of our guide.

And finally we reached the top of the rock and viola! (Drum rolls please) – the amazing view of the entire island!
And of course, I simply cannot let this chance pass to have my picture taken in this famous island. Picture perfect right?! Lol
This is indeed my favourite beach! I hope you enjoyed your time here. Thanks for dropping by! I made series of post regarding our trip to Isla Gigantes, you can check them out here Enroute Isla Gigantes. Please feel free to share this, drop me a comment and share your thoughts about your experiences in the island And if you like, please stop by my instagram @archieoffduty and find more travel ideas for your future travels.
