My 3D/2N Siquijor Island Travel Itinerary

Although Siquijor is just a small island that some can even manage to tour it in a day I suggest in order for you to fully enjoy what this beautiful island has to offer you need allot ample time to go around the island. Full 3 days and 2nights I believe is decent enough for you to go around the popular tourist spots and even more without rushing things and just enjoy your vacation.
Here is my suggested 3D/2N itinerary:
Day 0
We left Bacolod City at midnight for the 5hr drive to Dumaguete via Mabinay and arrived in Dumaguete around 5am in the morning.
Day 1
6:00 AM- light breakfast (there is a McDonalds few meters at the port)
7:00 AM- Ferry Ride to Siquijor via Delta Lines (160 pesos plus 15 pesos terminal fee)
9:30 AM - Arrival at Port of Siquijor in Larena
Chartered van to San Juan, Siquijor (30 minutes travel from the port) – Casa Miranda Resort &
Guesthouse. Check-in & Freshen up

10:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Island Tour Part 1
Island Tour Part 1
- Capilay’s Spring Park(San Juan)
- Century Old Balete Tree (Brgy Camplanas, Lazi) – fish spa
- Cang-Isok House, Oldest Surviving House in Siquijor Cang-isok century old house sightseeing
- Lunch at Salagdoong Beach (Maria) – Beach bumming & Cliff Diving
- Mt. Bandilaan Natural Park and went so see a Faith healer
- Pass by the house of Bolo Bolo healer
- Went up for sightseeing and dinner at Infinity Heights Resort
7:00 PM- Back to the resort
9:00 PM - Lights off
9:00 PM - Lights off
Day 2
8:00 AM- Breakfast at the resort
9:00 AM - Hired a tricycle for Island Tour Part 2
- Church of St. Francis Of Asisi and Bell Tower
- Guiwanon Spring Park Resort (Luyang)
- Sta. Maria Church (Maria)
- Tulapos Mangrove Sanctuary (Maria)
- San Isidro Labrador Parish Church and Convent (Lazi)
- San Juan Church
- Cambugahay Water Falls
5:00 PM- Back to the resort & bought some fresh harvest seafoods at San Juan Beach
7:00 PM- Dinner at the resort
9:00 PM- Lights off
9:00 PM- Lights off
Day 3
8:00 AM- Travel to Larena Port
10:00 AM- Arrival in Dumaguete City & Dumaguete Sightseeing
10:30 AM - Silliman University & Silliman Hall Museum
12:00 NN- Lunch at Sansrival Restaurant (Don’t ever, ever forget to bring home some Sansrival)
2:00 PM - Roam around Quezon Plaza
3:00 PM - Went to grab some Fried Ice Cream at Panda Ice cream house
4:00 PM - Went to Dumaguete City Tourism Office at the Public Park
4:30 PM - Visited Dumaguete Cathedral (St. Catherine of Alexandria Church) and Bell Tower
5:30 PM - Catch the sunset at Rizal Boulevard and sampled some street foods at hawker area at Rizal Boulevard
7:00 PM - Dinner at some resto near Rizal Boulevard.
9:00 PM- Night Bus to Bacolod City
If you have an extra day or two or planning to stay longer at the island, you can check out this places that we missed during our visit. Well, this only gives us more reasons to come back for much longer vacation. =)

FINAL NOTES:
- Make your itinerary realistic and doable according to your own interest and travel pacing. Once you have decided what places you want to see, stick with your schedule. Timing is Key and with so much things to do in the island in a very limited time, there is very little room for delay. :)
- The local dialect in Siquijor is Bisaya, however, majority of the people there can speak and understand English and Tagalog.
- Make sure you have enough cash with you as ATM is not readily available in the island. Certain towns like Larena and Siquijor has ATM machines however most of it are off line the time we visited there. If youre staying in big resorts credit cards are accepted but not in guesthouses.
- Best time to travel is during dry season from March to May. However summer months can be very hot so make sure you have enough sunscreen.
